Vintage Base Ball Game

WHEN:  6:30 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008

WHERE: On the large parade ground behind Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island

WHO: Featuring the home team Fort Mackinac Never Sweats vs. the visiting Mackinaw City Boys. They last played each other 122 years ago in 1886, when the Never Sweats emerged victorious. Can they do it again, or will history be rewritten?

COST: Families $15; Adults $5; Youth (5-17) $3; Under 5 and Mackinac Associate Members above Heritage Level - Free

WHAT'S VINTAGE BASE BALL? It's baseball played by the gentlemen rules of the 1800s. This is an actual competitive game, not a reenactment.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS: The Northwind Brass Band will play during the game, and a traditional food cart will be available.
